Aspire Electrical Devices
In 1993 Mk Electrical Private Limited was incorporated in Zimbabwe in a joint venture between Caradon PLC of London represented by MK Electric Overseas Limited of the Unite Kingdom and a local conglomerate. TA Holdings represented by its subsidiary Everglo Holdings.
In 1998 TA Holdings disposed its shareholdings to the MK Electric Zimbabwe trust.
In 2007 Mk Electrical Private Limited changed its corporate name from MK Electrical Zimbabwe to Aspire Electrical Devices, incorporate the introduction of three additional brands namely Ega trunking, Friedlad door and security products and Ackermann underfloor systems.
